There are alot of first person shooters (FPS) out there. There are modern ones, WWII ones, futuristic ones, heck there even a few westerns. But Project: Snowblind is hard to place in those categories. At first, it feels like a modern FPS, wiiiith assult rifles, shootguns, sniper rifles and rocket lauchers. But as progress, the game starts to feel more like a futuristic FPS, with EMP's, energy sheilds, rail cannons, and lasers. But that dosen't mean it's a bad game. In fact, Snowblind is a really solid shooter with tons of cool weapons(each weapon has a primary fire and a more powerful secondary fire) and a wide variety of levels. In Snowblind there are two types of missions- stleath mission, which have sneaking past guards and security devices, and "action" missions, which have you killing any enemy insight. Besides your weapons, you also have powerful or helpful augmentations, which include cloak, sheild, and a powerful energy storm power that damages enemies. there are also vehicles that you can use, but they're not that common. One of the biggest problems with this game, is the difficulty. I found that the missions' difficulties were very different, with some of the earlier missions being easier than some of the later ones. I think that the other big problem with the game, is that it just feels like it's lack something, not any thing big, but still lacking. Online multiplayer is really fun in this game, have you choose a class from a few different ones, each with their own weapons and ablities( like Star Wars Battlefront). All in all, this is a solid and fun FPS.- Games Bond
Rating: 8.5/10
Good: tons of weapons and powers, solid gameplay, fun multiplayer
Bad: strange difficulty, feels lacking , and no romance
